Here is an rare amazing antique Central Asia silk embroidery on fine silk foundation - Uzbek Suzani, from Tashkent region. Circa 1920. This Suzani was used to decorate high walls in big house of a prosperous uzbek family. The foundation of the silk handmade embroidery is a fine silk. The pattern of embroidery is very old composed of several rossets with buds and flowers inside !!!
Stitch: couching, chain-stitch, very fine embroidery. Size is 6'4" x 4'4" or 190 - 130 cm. In excellent condition, some small dirty places. Ready to use.
