Here is an rare amazing large antique Central Asia silk embroidery - Uzbek, Tadjik Suzani. The embroidery was made in the the first half of the 20th century, circa 1920. This Suzani was used to decorate high walls in big house of a prosperous uzbek family. The foundation of the silk handmade embroidery is a yellow cotton fabric as well.
Stitch: couching, chain-stitch, very fine embroidery, mostly dyes is natural. Size is 8' x 7'8 " or 240 - 230 cm. In very good condition, some small repaired places, ready to use.
