Here is an rare amazing antique Central Asia silk embroidery on fine silk foundation - Uzbek Suzani, from Samarkand region. Circa 1900/20. This Suzani was used to decorate high walls in big house of a prosperous uzbek family. The foundation of the silk handmade embroidery is a fine silk. The pattern of embroidery is very old composed of several rossets with buds and flowers inside !!!
Stitch: couching, very fine embroidery. Size is 7'4" x 6'8" or 220 - 200 cm. In excellent condition, without stains, holes and other dirty places. Ready to use.
